NYC, Occupy Wall Street headed into court for legal showdown after Zuccotti Park evictions: New York Daily News, by Kerry Burke Posted By: KarenJ1- Tue, 15 Nov 2011 19:40:56 GMT Hours after baton'wielding cops cleared Occupy Wall Street protesters and their tents from Zuccotti Park, both sides were waiting for a court to rule on whether they can return. A judge hand'picked by protest lawyers signed an early'morning emergency order saying the demonstrators can come back with their stuff. But the city refused to reopen the park before a Tuesday afternoon hearing in front of a different judge. A decision was expected by 3 p.m.
