The protesters marched from their City Hall encampment to the L.A. Live entertainment complex and back as some participants banged drums and chanted in the face of police wearing riot masks. Police officers were placed on a "tactical alert" for about 30 minutes, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department told the Daily News. "No police personnel were allowed to go home during the alert. But it was peaceful,"
